I recently sold a home in Muir Heights at 1875 Belmont and still can’t believe that the neighborhood hasn’t exploded when the median sales price is at $927,500 (according to Homes.com). Granted Belmont sold above the median price, but we treated it right with tasteful staging, paint and prep and some simple yard clean up (that’s all that was needed as the owners tastefully landscaped prior to market). Anyway, inventory can be light in this pocket, but it’s definitely worth keeping an eye one. During the listing period I found myself spending more and more time in the Lincoln Corridor at Stumptown, Homestate, Semolina Artisanal Pasta & Highlight Coffee to name a few.
If you’re unfamiliar with Muir Heights, it sits in northwest Pasadena, centered around John Muir High School and tucked between Linda Vista and the Lincoln corridor. It’s one of those neighborhoods that still feels local with quiet streets, mature trees, and a mix of Spanish, bungalow, and mid-century homes with character.
Muir Heights might just pull me out Sunset Junction in Silver Lake.
And this latest offering in Muir Heights at 1827 Glen Ave will likely move quickly as well:
