Having lived in Tujunga before and still helping clients in the area, I keep a close eye on the inventory every day. This 1930s farmhouse really caught me off guard. From the moment I saw the arched doorways and the vintage bar (still intact, plaid carpet and all) and the pool hidden around back, I knew I had to tour through.
Sitting on a flat half-acre in the foothills, the home feels like a snapshot from another time. You can feel its history in the wraparound porch, the pressed concrete floors, the high ceilings, and the Palos Verdes stone fireplace. The bar room is straight out of the 60s, with wood paneling, built-in speakers, and all the character you’d hope to find in a vintage home like this. Outside, is a large pool, mature pines, mountain views, and plenty of room for that ADU, orchard, or garden.
Tujunga feels so removed from LA with it’s clean mountain air, privacy and small town feel, but close to all that Northeast LA and the Foothills have to offer.
